In 1993, after being injured in an auto accident, my chiropractor suggested that I receive a massage to help release the tightness in my neck and back. After that first massage, I knew at that moment that this is what I wanted to do when I grew up! The Universe heard my statement and my life began to change. I knew my path was to be a massage therapist. I wanted to help others in the same way that Massage Therapist helped me.

I left my job in Corporate America and ventured off to massage school. My first class was in basic Swedish techniques at a school in the Philadelphia area. I went on to study Edgar Cayce healing techniques at the Edward Reilly School of Masseotherapy in Virginia Beach.

In September 1995, I moved to Arizona. I continued my education by receiving a certification in Neuromuscular Therapies at Biolink in Tempe. I regularly attend the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts for my continuing education credits. I am trained and certified in handling issues with Fibromylagia, Rotator Cuff Injuries, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Release and in working with the special needs of the elderly, pregnant women & infants.

I received my Reiki Master training in the Spring of 1996 and I teach Reiki techniques through the Master level. I have also received certfications on Violet Flame Reiki and Mahatma Reiki.

In September 2005, I became an Ordained Minister with the Madonna Ministries, performing wedding ceremonies, infant and child dedications, home/business blessings, and funeral services. I was honored to perform my first official wedding for my daughter Kathryn and her husband David.

My practice is located in Mesa, Arizona. The name of my business, Pure Light Therapies, was inspired by my daughter's name, Kathryn Helen, which means "Pure Light".

I believe in the unseen power that brings each and every client across my path. I am grateful for their loyalty and all that I learn from each of them. I also acknowledge my teachers, family, loving supportive friends and especially the Divine Guidance that assists in all I do. The unconditional love I receive from my daughter Kathryn, her husband David, and my granddaughters Reese and Ava have been a great influence and motivation for me. I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

I feel blessed that I was guided to come to this profession and to this area so many years ago to serve all of you through Divine Guidance.
